Commonwealth Biomonitoring

Water Quality Scientists

Welcome to Commonwealth Biomonitoring! We are a small, environmental laboratory located in the greater Indianapolis area with a passion for protecting Indiana waters. Our company specializes in aquatic toxicity testing for many of Indiana's municipal and industrial wastewater dischargers. We also provide services to keep our waters clean and healthy including watershed diagnostics, wetland delineation, pathogen assessment of biosolids, and general water quality monitoring. We now offer GIS (Geographic Information Systems) solutions for environmental data. To see more on how your project may benefit from the use of a GIS and all of our services, please visit About our Services.

Because we are a small company, we work hard to meeting the needs of our clients and can devote our time to your project needs in an efficient and effective manner. Each of our employees specializes in various aspects of water quality, including chemical analysis, pathogen analysis, field sampling, GIS, and aquatic animal and habitat surveys. Our company goal is to protect and enhance water quality for future generations.

Biomonitoring is an important tool in helping to identify and solve water quality issues. Indiana's waters are truly special as they provide us with drinking water, municipal sources, and a means of recreation. The diversity of our streams, rivers, lakes, and reservoirs is one of a kind in the Midwest.

Please browse our site to find more information on biomonitoring and how we may help in solving your water quality needs.
